The hope is lost somewhere, the bright dream has disappeared among the sorrow and sadness, among pain and sufferings.
Brothers kozaks, where are you? The faithful to your heart, where are you? You were fought, you were broken, and you were torn into pieces.
You were standing for freedom, for the life of your nation, my brothers Ukrainians, everyone on your own place.
You were fighting the enemy with sabers, with tough fists, everything for our native Ukraine, because it is the only one.
